US Wasted $8B In Iraq Contracts, Inspector General Says

Law360, New York (March 7, 2013, 10:21 PM EST) -- The U.S. wasted $8 billion of the $60 billion it spent on Iraq reconstruction projects, the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction said Wednesday, arguing the government needs a new agency to coordinate wartime contracting in order to avoid repeating its mistakes in Iraq.
