Famous Dave's Booze Tax Settlement Gets Rejected

Law360, New York (March 7, 2013, 8:11 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge rejected a proposed settlement Thursday between Famous Dave's of America Inc. and a class of consumers who claim the barbecue chain's Philadelphia restaurants charged them excessive taxes on alcoholic beverages, saying the deal did not compensate class members.
