Sharon Stone Sued Over Firing Of Injured Housekeeper

Law360, Los Angeles (March 11, 2013, 10:16 PM EDT) -- A former housekeeper sued Sharon Stone in California state court Monday, accusing the “Basic Instinct” actress of verbally abusing her and firing her after asking for physician-mandated medical leave and modified work duties after she injured her back loading the star's groceries.

Angelica Castillo, who worked for Stone between 2010 and 2012, claims Stone retaliated against her when she requested medical leave and modified cleaning duties to accommodate a work-related injury as recommended by her physician and wrongfully terminated her on the basis of her injury,...
