HP's $10B Autonomy Buy Under Investigation In UK

Law360, New York (March 12, 2013, 1:52 PM EDT) -- Hewlett-Packard Co.'s $10.3 billion purchase of Autonomy PLC, which prompted an $8.8 billion write-down last fall, is under investigation by British regulators, the company disclosed Tuesday ahead of its annual meeting, where Chairman Ray Lane is expected to face a re-election challenge.
