El Paso Fraudster Gets Hearing Over Kickback Forfeiture

Law360, New York (March 12, 2013, 8:02 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Tuesday declined to order an El Paso businessman to forfeit funds allegedly tied to a fraud that siphoned $550,000 in federal funds from a program dedicated to helping children with severe mental illness, saying a hearing was required before ordering the forfeiture.
