3rd Circ. Upholds Ex-NJ Mayor's 30-Month Bribery Sentence

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 5:02 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit on Wednesday refused to toss a 30-month sentence handed to former Secaucus, N.J., Mayor Dennis Elwell for pocketing a $10,000 bribe from a government informant, saying the government's attacks on his character during trial didn't amount to prosecutorial misconduct.
