$100M DC Streetlight Contract Award Overturned

Law360, Los Angeles (March 14, 2013, 8:05 PM EDT) -- Electrical systems company Citelum DC LLC has successfully challenged a $100 million contract awarded by the District of Columbia Department of Transportation to manage and upgrade Washington's network of more than 70,000 streetlights, its counsel Patton Boggs LLP said Thursday.

Citing improprieties in the procurement process, the District of Columbia Contract Appeals Board sustained Citelum's protest on March 1, setting aside the Citywide Streetlight Asset Management Services award that the district handed to M.C. Dean Inc.
