Defense Auditor Struggles With Backlog As Furloughs Loom

Law360, Washington (March 14, 2013, 11:07 PM EDT) -- The Defense Contract Audit Agency is struggling with ways to attack its growing backlog of unaudited contracts, an issue that has gained new urgency in light of looming federal employee furloughs and recent decisions reinforcing the six-year time limit on the government’s attempts to recoup money from contractors.
