United Ch. 11 Bars DHL Antitrust Suit, 2nd Circ. Told

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 7:50 PM EDT) -- United Airlines Inc. told the Second Circuit on Wednesday that a district court’s decision to let DHL's cargo-price-fixing antitrust suit proceed sets a precedent that will undermine the purpose and effectiveness of bankruptcy protections. 

United, which filed for Chapter 11 in December 2002, told the appeals panel that delivery company DHL, a United customer and creditor, filed its antitrust suit too late.
