9th Circ. Rejects Chubb's CERCLA Subrogation Claims

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Friday affirmed that Chubb Insurance Co. cannot seek to recover $2.4 million in environmental coverage from Ford Motor Co. and others via subrogation claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act.
