Hollywood Writers Take Battle To The NLRB

Law360, New York (December 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Hollywood writers have taken their battle with the screen producers to the National Labor Relations Board, accusing them of illegally blocking negotiations for a contract that could end the 40-plus-day strike.

The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Produces broke NLRB rules when it threatened to stay away from the bargaining table until the Writers Guild of America withdraws certain proposals it has pushed, the union charged on Thursday.
