Law360, Los Angeles (March 19, 2013, 4:14 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Tuesday refused to dismiss a putative wage-and-hour class action alleging health care IT provider McKesson Corp. failed to provide meal breaks for hourly workers after the lead plaintiff reached a settlement, saying ending the case could harm unrepresented potential class members.
At a Tuesday hearing, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Ronald M. Sohigian said he needed a showing of facts that the putative class would not be adversely affected by the settlement.
