DuPont GC Faulted In Suit Over $1B Monsanto Patent Verdict

Law360, New York (March 19, 2013, 2:09 PM EDT) -- DuPont Co.'s general counsel directly oversaw the crafting of a 2002 licensing agreement for herbicide-resistant seeds that led to a patent infringement lawsuit by its rival Monsanto Co. and an eventual $1 billion jury verdict, an investor suing the company in a derivative suit told a Delaware federal court Monday.
