Senate Passes $984B Gov't Funding Bill To Avoid Shutdown

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 9:01 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate on Wednesday passed a $984 billion continuing appropriations bill to fund the government until the end of September and help alleviate the blow of the sequester on the U.S. Department of Defense and others, a full-week before the current continuing resolution was set to expire.
