Google Rivals Urge EU To Push Ahead With Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 7:37 PM EDT) -- Eleven Google Inc. rivals urged the European Commission's antitrust chief Thursday to press ahead with formal antitrust charges against the Internet search giant, saying the company was unlikely to offer up meaningful fixes in a settlement.

Executives at Expedia Inc., TripAdvisor and others signed onto a letter from the CEO of Foundem, one of the original complainants who urged the commission to investigate claims that Google was favoring its own content.
