SL Green Closes $925M Loan For Chetrit's $1B Sony HQ Buy

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 6:58 PM EDT) -- SL Green Realty Corp. has closed on the $925 million bridge financing it arranged for the Chetrit Group for its $1.1 billion purchase of Sony Corp.'s U.S. headquarters in Manhattan.

The financing, which was rumored in the real estate press last week but only made public Wednesday, will mature in conjunction with Sony's leaseback of the property, which will last for up to three years as the technology giant looks for a new office to lease, according to SL Green.
