Gap Sues Landlord For Ending Lease Due To Sandy Damage

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 10:51 PM EDT) -- Clothing retailer The Gap Inc. hit the landlord of its South Street Seaport premises in New York City with a lawsuit Thursday after the landlord terminated its lease and gave it until Friday to vacate because of an alleged $4 million in Superstorm Sandy damage to the building.
