Express Scripts Sued Over Drug-Delivery Robocalls

Law360, New York (March 27, 2013, 1:15 PM EDT) -- A California man who says he received dozens of unsolicited robocalls from prescription drug distributor Express Scripts Inc. lodged a putative class action against the company in federal court Tuesday seeking relief for alleged Telephone Consumer Protection Act violations.

Named plaintiff Edward Engquist began receiving calls on his cellphone from Express Scripts about his prescription drug information in November 2011 despite never using the service before or granting the company permission to contact him, the suit says.
