GSK Hit With Another Avandia Wrongful Death Suit

Law360, New York (December 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- GlaxoSmithKline has been hit with a wrongful death suit alleging the drug maker’s negligence and failure to warn about the risks of diabetes treatment Avandia led to the death of a California nurse.

On Monday, Rogelio and Eric Larosa filed suit against GSK in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, claiming their wife and mother, Milagros, suffered from blockages in her heart after taking Avandia for her Type 2 diabetes.
