US Can’t Shake $200M Tab For Calif. Electric Overcharges

Law360, New York (April 2, 2013, 1:26 PM EDT) -- A federal judge declined Tuesday to revisit a ruling that the U.S. owes about $200 million in electricity overcharges after breaching a contract with utilities and the state of California, saying the Ninth Circuit’s recent decision in City of Redding v. FERC does not affect his prior ruling.
