Samsung Tells Judge USPTO Axed Key Claim Of Apple Patent

Law360, New York (April 2, 2013, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Monday told the judge overseeing its patent fight with Apple Inc. in California federal court that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has rejected a crucial claim of one of Apple’s patents as anticipated, throwing the future of the so-called rubber-banding patent into question.
