Former Seagate Worker Cops To Role In Kickback Scheme

Law360, San Francisco (April 2, 2013, 6:00 PM EDT) -- A former Seagate Technology Inc. employee pled guilty in California federal court Monday to taking part in a scheme to leak the hard drive maker's confidential information, including manufacturing processes and pricing targets, to suppliers in exchange for kickbacks.

Reza Nikfar, one of four men indicted in the alleged scheme, also agreed to cooperate with the government's investigation, according to his attorney Ismail Ramsey of Ramsey & Ehrlich LLP. Nikfar was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and faces 20 years in...
