Sony Units Drop LCD Price-Fixing Suit Against LG

Law360, New York (April 4, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT) -- Two Sony Corp. units on Wednesday dropped antitrust claims they brought against LG Display Co. Ltd. in California federal court, which are part of a multidistrict litigation over price-fixing by liquid crystal display panel makers.

In a stipulation of dismissal, Sony Electronics Inc. and Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC agreed to dismiss all claims against LG with prejudice and LG similarly agreed to toss all counterclaims.
