'Single Employer' Liable In Union Workers Suit, 3rd Circ. Says

Law360, New York (April 5, 2013, 8:12 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit ruled Friday that a private health care company and its operating unit, in which it owns a controlling stake and has overlapping officers, count as a single employer that’s liable for any unfair labor practices in a precedential decision involving hiring unionized workers.
