NeurogesX Can't Shake Shareholder Suit Over Exec's Exit

Law360, New York (April 8, 2013, 6:16 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday tentatively rejected NeurogesX Inc.'s bid to dismiss a proposed class action accusing the company of hiding the planned departure of its head of research and development, finding that the plaintiffs have so far sufficiently shown how the company allegedly misled shareholders.

In a tentative ruling, the court trimmed some claims from the complaint, but found that the company and its former chief medical officer and executive vice president of research and development, Jeffrey Tobias, may be liable for alleged misleading...
