Personnel Costs Will Swamp Defense Budget by 2024: Report

Law360, New York (April 8, 2013, 8:32 PM EDT) -- Tightening budgets and rapidly rising personnel, operations and maintenance costs could leave little room in the U.S. Department of Defense’s budget for new acquisitions and contracts unless the department reforms its spending in the next 10 years, according to a study released Friday.
