Entergy Asks Appeals Court To Nix $1B Overcharge Suit

Law360, Houston (April 23, 2013, 8:59 PM EDT) -- Entergy Corp. told a Texas appeals court Tuesday that a $1 billion class action alleging it overcharged customers should be tossed because state and federal regulators have the exclusive authority to hear the claims involved, which the electric utility said should be tried on a case-by-case basis.
