Atmos Can't Build Pipeline Until Landowner Row Is Finished

Law360, New York (April 9, 2013, 6:45 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court on Monday blocked Atmos Energy Corp. from constructing a pipeline on a 50-foot easement it owns in Parker County until a trial court resolves an underlying suit brought by landowners who say the pipeline cuts across their adjoining multiacre properties.

A three-judge panel of the Second District Court of Appeals granted the landowners' writ of injunction blocking Atmos from moving ahead with construction of the pipeline until the trial court resolves the landowners' interlocutory appeal of an earlier rejection of their request...
