Martha Stewart Must Face Macy's Design Claims, Judge Says

Law360, New York (April 11, 2013, 6:53 PM EDT) -- Macy's Inc. can continue with its efforts to try to stop Martha Stewart from designing certain home goods for other retailers, a New York state judge ruled Thursday during a bench trial, paving the way for Macy's to try to block J.C. Penney Co. Inc. from selling Stewart-designed goods under another brand name.
