Developer Seeks $8.2M From Ex-Partner Over Manhattan Reno

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 1:47 PM EDT) -- A New York developer has sued his former partner and two related companies in a Manhattan synagogue and apartment project over allegedly fraudulently transferring assets to get out of paying back certain debts, according to a Wednesday state court complaint.

Jack Braha, through his development company 3 West 16th Street LLC, lobbed two counts of fraudulent conveyance at Steven Ancona and two of his units saying Braha is owed at least $8.2 million in back property taxes, attorneys' fees to enforce the lease and renovation costs...
