2 Firms Hit With Suit Over Fees From Peru Plane Crash Case

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 8:20 PM EDT) -- Two firms have been sued in New Jersey for allegedly failing to turn over attorneys' fees from the resolution of litigation involving a 2005 plane crash in Peru that killed 40 people.

The suit, filed April 8 in Bergen County Superior Court contends that Mexican law firm Servicios Legales de Mesoamerica and Baker Brown & Dixon agreed to have Arthur E. Ballen, who was of counsel to Speiser Krause PC at the time, pursue claims related to Transportes Aereos Nacionales de la Selva Peru Flight 204...
