Facebook, AGs To Tell Teens How To Keep Data Under Wraps

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 9:38 PM EDT) -- Facebook Inc. will work with nearly 20 state attorneys general to inform teens about how to protect the privacy of their personal data on the Internet, Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler announced Monday.

During a National Association of Attorneys General summit on privacy in National Park, Md., Gansler, the association's president, said a coalition of state attorneys general had joined with Facebook to launch a program to educate teenagers and their parents on how to manage their online visibility.
