Tobacco Cos. Push For End To Texas Outdoor Ad Fee

Law360, Dallas (April 16, 2013, 8:10 PM EDT) -- Philip Morris USA Inc. and other tobacco companies opposed to an outdoor cigarette advertising fee charged by the Texas Comptroller’s Office have asked the state attorney general to declare the fee unconstitutional and preempted by federal law, according to a letter made public Tuesday.
