Class Cert. Denied In Fla. Insurance Hike Action

Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 8:20 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge Friday shot down a proposed class action accusing Mueller Services Inc. of raising premiums through faulty wind mitigation inspections, finding that homeowner plaintiffs' parameters for class size were too broad and failed to prove that the class shared common injuries under the alleged unfair insurance hikes.
