DOJ To Give Embezzlement Evidence To Feinstein Campaign

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 8:46 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice will release evidence sought by the campaign of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., for its suit alleging First California Bank aided a former campaign treasurer convicted of embezzling millions from the lawmaker and other clients since at least 2000.

Kinde Durkee was sentenced in November to eight years in prison for the estimated $7 million haul, and the Feinstein campaign had requested that the Justice Department turn over computer evidence in her case as part of its state civil suit alleging First...
