Fujitsu, NEC, Toshiba, Matsushita Sued Over Chip Patents

Law360 (October 25, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Asserting a patent portfolio worth an estimated $1 billion, a California IP holding company is taking on major players in Japan’s electronics market over ubiquitous microprocessor features.

Technology Properties Limited, Inc. filed the complaint Tuesday against Fujitsu Limited, NEC Corp., Matsushita Electrical Industrial Co., and Toshiba Corp. The complaint was brought in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
