Sara Lee Pays $1M To Settle Don, Doff Class Action

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 8:55 PM EDT) -- Sara Lee Corp. reached a $1.4 million settlement Monday with a group of production workers at a North Carolina factory who had sued the company a decade ago, claiming it hadn't paid them for the time they spent changing into and out of protective gear.

According to a joint motion filed in federal court Monday, the settlement would provide compensation to the 231 workers who opted in to the class action.
