Law360, New York (April 23, 2013, 7:34 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday refused to award sanctions against Anderson News LLC despite allegations from Time Inc. and others accused of sinking the defunct magazine wholesaler that Anderson fabricated the occurrence of a conspiratorial meeting in a court filing.
U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty said even if the allegations surrounding that meeting prove to be false, they are not, at this point in the case, objectively unreasonable and therefore are allowed to stand.
