Alioto Claims $47M Fee Objection Ghostwritten By Lender

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs attorney Joseph M. Alioto accused LFG National Capital LLC on Tuesday of ghostwriting a recent objection urging a federal judge to void his firm's $47 million fee award in multidistrict price-fixing litigation in a bid to bolster its $28 million loan debt claim.

Alioto and LFG have been fighting for weeks over whether $28.2 million of the Alioto Law Firm's recent award for its work on the liquid crystal display antitrust MDL should be used to pay off a loan debt.
