United Continental Pilots' Race Bias Claims Dismissed

Law360, New York (April 25, 2013, 1:06 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday tossed nearly all claims in a suit brought by black United Continental Holdings Inc. airline pilots and supervisors who allege the airline offers minority employees far fewer opportunities than their white counterparts for promotions.

U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney ruled the lawsuit didn't offer enough evidence supporting claims that UCH excludes black pilots and operations supervisors from management positions.
