Ceglia Asks Judge To Halt Facebook Forgery Charges

Law360, New York (April 29, 2013, 5:54 PM EDT) -- Alleged Facebook Inc. fraudster Paul Ceglia asked a New York federal judge on Friday to halt his criminal case until the conclusion of his civil contract case against Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, saying the criminal indictment is unlikely to result in a conviction.

Ceglia, who has pled not guilty to charges that he unlawfully forged a contract with Zuckerberg promising Ceglia a 50 percent stake in Facebook, asked the court for a preliminary injunction on the charges while he pursues a suit seeking his alleged ownership...
