Twitter Legal Director Tapped As White House Tech Adviser

Law360, New York (May 7, 2013, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The White House has appointed Twitter Inc.’s legal director Nicole Wong as a leading privacy officer advising U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park, according to Tuesday news reports.

Wong will serve in a newly created role as senior adviser to Park, confidential sources told Wall Street Journal tech blog AllThingsD. The scope of her role was not immediately clear, and representatives for the White House and Twitter could not immediately be reached for confirmation on Tuesday.
