Calif. Appeals Court Orders Class Cert. In Safeway Suit

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 6:00 PM EDT) -- A California state appeals court on Wednesday ordered class certification of a group of truckers who allege Safeway Stores Inc. didn't give them mandatory meal breaks or pay them for rest breaks, overturning a trial court's finding that there was not enough commonality among the workers.
