Bob Marley Label Asks 9th Circ. To Revive Antitrust Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (May 9, 2013, 5:23 PM EDT) -- Record distributor Rock River Communications Inc. urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to revive an antitrust and copyright suit accusing Universal Music Group Inc. of interfering with its sales of a Bob Marley album, arguing that a lower court erroneously excluded evidence about an alleged oral license agreement as hearsay.
