Dial, Heinz Urged To Move News Corp. Coupon Suit To NY

Law360, New York (May 10, 2013, 6:51 PM EDT) -- An antitrust suit brought by H.J. Heinz Co. and Henkel Corp.-owned Dial Corp. against News Corp. over coupon and in-store promotional services it provides should be moved to New York, a Michigan magistrate judge recommended Friday. 

U.S. Magistrate Judge Mona K. Majzoub said that while the cases might be best left in Michigan because its courts had handled similar antitrust cases against News Corp., News Corp.'s marketing contracts with Heinz, soap maker Dial and a third plaintiff, Foster Poultry Farms, all have New York forum-selection clauses...
