Quik Park Wants $2M For Sandy Coverage From Lexington

Law360, New York (May 13, 2013, 4:31 PM EDT) -- Several dozen Manhattan-based Quik Park franchises lodged a suit in New York state court Thursday demanding that Lexington Insurance Co. cough up $2 million to cover property damage and business losses from Superstorm Sandy.

The massive 2012 storm wreaked havoc on approximately 60 Quik Park parking lots and garages, shutting some of them down for months, yet Lexington is refusing to fulfill its obligation under a policy for flood damage and other physical losses, according to the suit.
