US Ordered To Produce Docs In Lockheed Rocket Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (May 13, 2013, 8:48 PM EDT) -- A D.C. federal judge on Monday scaled back Lockheed Martin Corp's motions to compel discovery in a suit against the federal government over environmental cleanup costs at California rocket factories, ordering the U.S. to produce some additional documents and witnesses.

Lockheed sued the U.S. in 2008, seeking recovery of response costs under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act for costs incurred during the company's cleanup of chemicals in the soil and groundwater at three California facilities where it developed rocket systems.
