Juniper Ducks Securities Suit Over Alleged Misstatements

Law360, Los Angeles (May 17, 2013, 5:45 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday threw out a putative class action brought against Juniper Networks Inc. for purportedly assuring investors that the company was doing well when it was actually facing several problems, saying the allegations didn’t give reasonable inference that Juniper’s projections were false and misleading.

The decision ends the securities and fraud litigation brought by shareholders who were caught off guard when Juniper reported disappointing financial returns in 2011, after having claimed the company was on track to meet its target revenue growth...
