Snoop Dogg Shakes Claims Over Role In Druggy Video

Law360, New York (May 20, 2013, 2:08 PM EDT) -- Rapper Snoop Dogg lost a bid Friday to dismiss breach of contract and fraud claims filed by a Lebanese businessman, but did defeat an accusation that he had violated the man's publicity rights by including him in a drug-filled music video.

U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee said Roger Kalaouz had adequately alleged that Snoop and his Doggy Style Music Inc. had broken a promise to pay consulting fees for setting up a Middle Eastern concert tour, but axed a claim that Snoop had damaged Kalaouz's reputation...
