Boeing-Airbus Squabble Over Govt. Subsidies

Law360 (January 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A quick settlement is still not on the horizon for rival aircraft manufacturers Boeing Co. and Airbus, as the companies' dispute over government funding continued in another round of hearings at the World Trade Organization on Wednesday.

The international trade clash pits the United States against the European Union, accusing each other of providing billions of dollars in subsidies to Boeing and Airbus respectively.
